I was able to run some test missions and have screenshots
of 16 Pe-2s using the Vayenga-1 airfield.

Notice how I had to arrange the take-off to allow for all
16 planes to land and take off correctly.

And one small mistake.

Mixx, if you need anything specific tested or screenshot just let me know.

Dear spdr109!

Thanks for screenshots!
Very useful for building in missions
If possible, you continue testing at the remaining airfields!

noticed, that some of the aircraft parking ignored. I noticed a bug with the tree. I have to correct....

Mixx

I will be testing more airfields over the next several days.

Are you satisfied with my presentation?

Please suggest improvements or any specific information

that is needed for your purposes.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Mixx 12.04.2010 11:36

Hi spdr109!
I am very pleased with your presentation!
I would like you to continue testing airfields on the map.
If you have any ideas for improving airfields please let us know.
I am interested to follow your work.
Luck!

spdr109 12.04.2010 11:52

All airfields show the maximum number of aircraft

that will park.

For testing I skinned the aircraft "void".

Vayenga-2

East runway will park 4 aircraft.

West runway will park 4 aircraft.

Maximum parking is 6 Pe-2's and then only

if the aircraft from the west runway land first.

spdr109 12.04.2010 12:01

Shongui

East runway can park 7 aircraft.

West runway can park 7 aircraft before a crash occurs.

Cross runway can park 5 aircraft.

spdr109 12.04.2010 12:12

Murmashi

East runway will park 5 aircraft.

West runway will park 5 aircraft.

The problem is that both runways use the same

5 parking spots at the south/east corner of the airfield.

Cross runway will park 1 aircraft.

Mixx 12.04.2010 12:19

Thank Spdr109!
Of course I'm a little disappointed that only six aircraft- parking for west runway ...
However, your test will help me in shaping this map

spdr109 12.04.2010 13:33

Several things you might want to consider.

When aircraft that are assigned to one runway have to

cross another runway problems can occur.

Also the spacing between parking spots on some runways

may be slightly too close.

However

Your airfields are so realistic and innovative compared to the

typical Il-2 runways !!!

I think the way you routed the aircraft on the Shongui airfield

works very well!

All three runways can accept landings at the same time because

aircraft turn onto taxiways before crossing other taxiways or runways.

Perhaps you could incorporate those features along with increased spacing.

Also...

I discovered some bugs

Arnoldovka village south of Murmansk

Some questions...

There is much information regarding the time period I am interested in

concerning German aircraft and Russian lend-lease aircraft.

June/July 1942.

I can find NOTHING

about Russian bombers in this area during this period!

Any help out there?

Thanks for the info.

Very helpful.

More tests coming soon.

Kirill 18.04.2010 17:06

А не сделали ли:D еще каманию на этой замечательной карте? Если да, то киньте сцылко, плиз.

spdr109 19.04.2010 04:08

Following tests were made using Ju-88.

Heybukten

24 aircraft take off from 2 main runways.

Cross runway is used for landing only.

8 aircraft land at the east runway.

8 aircraft land at the west runway.

8 aircraft land at the cross runway.

Trees at end of runway will cause aircraft to crash

if carrying a heavy bomb load!
