You can also check the sas link that includes new Ki-43 slots and also more 3d improvements and skins. Ki-43 is one of my favorites unfortunately it catch fire like a swiss match

Yes to work with 1024 skins you need to downsize the default skin. If the default skin is 2048 or 4096 then only hd custom skin can be used. If default skin is 1024 you can use both 1024 and hd custom skins

I tried to do that, but 3d model highpoly gave me no chance.
