New map of Karelian front by Team International Brigade
 

Team International Brigade wishes a merry Christmas and Happy new Year with this first picture of new map under construction. :D

-I found finally a good source for Arctic satellitedata and i send it to IL2 communitys master of the maps Mr. Agracier, who made the data for IL2 engine. He is also making a nice texture set and working with roads and railroads for this huge map.
I will populate the map using autopop tool ( if i ever learn to use it) and picking some villages and cities from Default Gulf of Finland and my previous smaller maps that i have made of this area.
Friction mod will be used to make airfelds.
Kapteeni will also make at least one DCG campaign for this map of the
East Karelia and Leningrad area AKA KARELIAN FRONT
Here is the area as seen in FMB map ( not final)As you see, the area is very big, so it will take about 2 weeks before map is ready ( :roll: ),be sure:

И в етой карте будут аеродромы сделаны при помощи ФрикшнМод. Как видно, не надо опасаться етого мода, он показывает свои достоинства. ;)

Непонятно только, ведь есть же у них эти карты отдельно - Свирь и Архангельск. Очень хорошие. А это просто объединение и расширение, как я понял... Но молодцы!

We have now almost made all the villages for autopop tool. Leningrad will be a huge task what comes to populating.
I have an excellent reference for all the airfields on Finnish /USSR airfields, but Lengrad front's airfied are still under investigation. If any1 knows good links about Airfields (in English) that would be a great help.
Or... Are the airfields in Default Finsgulf map at theur right position?
