Ну не знаю... кмк, вполне мгновенно и сразу в Валхаллу. У них там хуже, если раненого достанут, и начнут тупым ножиком голову резать.
Кстати, вспомнил, у летунов тоже люди заживо сгорали не сумев выбраться. В JG26, какой-то член, во время аварийной на брюхо, перевернулся и загорелся. Член не дожидаясь пока сгорит заживо, веся на ремнях вниз головой- застрелился.

On a less pleasant note, Lt. Kurt Fischer of the 9th Staffel was killed when the engine of his fighter quit unexpectedly at an altitude of 800 meters (2600 feet), immediately after taking off from Plantliinne. Fischer could not control the plane, which crashed, trapping him inside. The fully-fueled fighter caught fire, and Fischer shot himself with his pistol before the flames reached the cockpit. According to Third Gruppe folk wisdom, Fischer's death was an example of the "frontier justice" prevalent during the last year of the war. Fischer was thirty-eight years old, and a firm Nazi. He had spent the entire war at a primary flight school, and expected its standards of strict discipline to apply at the front. He insisted that all enlisted men salute him (with the now-standard deutsche Gruss) at each meeting, something that was unheard of in JG 26. Some of the mechanics apparently decided to put an end to this perceived harassment by sabotaging his airplane.
