Случайно наткнулся ...

Строилось (иначе и не назовешь) это все пять (!) лет, с 1976 по 1981, причем от первоначальных наборов - Revell 1/32 Fw-190D (No. 215) и Hasegawa 1/32 Fw-190A (No. S10) - по словам автора, осталось хорошо, если процентов десять ...

На остальные ракурсы можно полюбоваться, тыцнув в первую картинку

К слову, если погуглить на предмет "scratch built model" можно найти немало любопытного Вот, к примеру, причем - что характерно - в 72-м масштабе ...

А для этого образчика творчества очередного "левши" я даже определение затрудняюсь подобрать ...

Если верить этой информации, этот "Крокодил" строился порядка 15 (!) лет, с 1986 по 2001, начиналось все это в нашем родном Киеве, а закончилось аж в Канаде. Состоит это "чудо враждебной техники" (с) более чем из 100 000 (!) деталей, электрифицировано и механизировано "по самое не балуйся", вплоть до того, что имеет вполне себе работающие педали (!!!), и все это в 32-м масштабе

Выставка-конкурс Минск-2015

В Минске с 20 по 24 октября 2015 года в помещении библиотеки Белорусского государственного технического университета (БНТУ) была проведена выставка-конкурс стендового моделизма "Минск-2015".

Как и в прошлом 2014 году мероприятие поддержало статус международного. В выставке приняло участие около 100 моделистов из Беларуси, а также стран-соседей; для сравнения, в прошлом году количество участников выставки составляло около 45 человек. В этом году было выставлено примерно 650 моделей, в 2014 году – около 400. Как и в прошлом году, так и в этом, участвовал и стар, и млад.

В эти выходные прошла международная выставка стендовых моделей. Выставка размещалась в трёх больших залах и отдельное помещение предоставлялось для моделей выставленных на конкурсы.

В минувшие выходные состоялось торжественное закрытие IX-й выставки масштабных моделей "Техника в масштабе", прошедшей в "шлеме" - новом здании Тульского государственного музея оружия. Представляю вниманию форумчан довольно объемный фоторепортаж с этой выставки.

Who can ever forget the aircraft kits with the multicolored plastic parts?

Unlike other makes, Matchbox just didn't suddenly appear one day on the plastic scale models scene. Matchbox came from the well-known range of die-cast vehicles of the same name.

The Lesney company which used the brand name "Matchbox" was founded in 1953 by Mr Leslie Smith (who remained on the board of the company throughout his career - he died in 2005) and Mr Rodney Smith. It was this company that thought up these little "pocket money" vehicles and the ingenious packaging which gave them their name.

The name came from the box which was the shape, size and color of a match box. The firm brought out scale models of planes, tanks, boats, motorbikes and cars but also little soldiers which all brightened the childhood days of today's forty-year olds... This book retraces the forty glorious years of a firm, of a brand of kits intended for beginners just as much as it was for the most demanding buffs.

More than just a kit, a state of mind.

Jean-Christophe Carbonel is a world renowned specialist of French model kits. His 20-years of experience with the European and Japanese model kit markets has enabled him to deal in depth with the French "model craze."

С 21 по 28 ноября в "Республиканском доме народного творчества - Дом молодёжи" г.Ижевск состоялась V-я региональная выставка-конкурс стендового моделизма. На выставке приняли было представлено более 180 работ от жителей города Ижевска и Удмуртской республики.
