So maybe you can forward it to the mapmaker?
A possibility is to repaint mount Suribachi (Iwo Jima map) and lower the height level. I gave it an attempt and used the image from Aviaskins for it and now it looks like this:

I don't know if these colours match with the texture colours of the map but it was just a quick repaint to show an alternative just in case there is no 3D modeller around. If he is interested I can make a better version if he provides me with some other images.
By the way, this repaint will be a new object and won't replace the original mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima.

Конечно критиковать легче чем сделать, но все же, было бы не плохо сделать объект покатым, неровным конусом со смешенным центром, так как отвесные бока выглядят не реально, да и размерчик хотелось бы поменьше. В начале 40-х годов горные выработки в большинстве имели поменьше размеры. Моя теща родом из Дзержинска и вот не далеко от её дома как раз есть террикон довоенной "копанки" (шахты) представляющий собой поросший холм высотой приблизительно 15 м.
